  Banking Corporation with a foreword provided by Australian entrepreneur
  Natalie Bloom of Bloom Cosmetics.

With a 15+ year career in journalism as both in-house and freelance Editor / Writer, from women's magazines to business publications, Karen's work focuses on inspiration, education, business, and lifestyle issues. Karen is a regular media commentator and was the founding publisher/editor of FRANK magazine - an inspirational magazine for young women.

Karen's extensive community work has seen her champion many causes over numerous years as a voice for women. Most recently Karen focused on the impact of domestic violence in Australian families, and now ovarian cancer in her new community role as Mrs Australia World 2011/12.

Relishing in the girlie-side-of-life is Karen's online boutique stationery business 'Miss Scarlett' for stylish, time-savvy mums. Miss Scarlett customises baby shower invitations and birth announcements, christening and birthday invitations for your children.

(In her spare time!) Karen mentors inspired entrepreneurs looking to start or build their own business. Karen's clients have ranged from a nutritionist and educator, to an author and work-from-home-mums.

As a former Director of The FRANK Team, Karen impacted thousands of people Australia-wide and internationally through her educational programs. These focused on career skills development and entrepreneurship for young professionals, Gen X and Y, and the youth market.
